This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. As sounds played back their pitch and sample rate changed depending on the amplitude of the sound. . . Pretty cool effect i figured. . . "man i gotta record that and use it!" so here it is!.

A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. Here's one from a series of 'clang' sounds, great for impact moments in trailers & commercials, or to layer up with other sounds. They are somewhat high-pitch, so they might mix well with low frequency drums and impact sounds. Recorded with tascam dr-40 built-in-mics, by hitting a railing with a pipe in a stairwell and adding a little bit more reverb in daw.

A glitchy abstract futuristic jam created in cryogen by glitchmachines. Contains some fantastic weird textures, glitches, rythems and bits to use as effect or as a layer for drums.

Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. Will be nice choice to produce hip-hop drums, or experimental techno also for making cinematic thunder-like booms.

We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space.
